Hanwei Katana Elite Stalking Tiger

Hanwei's Tiger Elite Katana gives out forbidding vibes due to its intimidating appearance. Forged from K120C, a type of powder steel known for its homogeneity and evenly distributed carbon content, the clay tempering process results in a blade that is durable and has excellent edge retention. This results in a visually striking hamon that enhances the aesthetics of the sword.

Aptly named, this katana comes equipped with a blackened bronze maru gata (round) tuba that features a stalking tiger detailed in gold. Other quality fittings include the fuchi, kashira, and gold colored habaki, seppa, and menuki. The tsuka of this piece is first inlaid with the finest quality white same and the tsukamaki uses black premium Japanese cotton tsuka ito. Completing the design of this sword is a lacquered black saya with glossy black stripes near the koiguchi and black premium Japanese cotton sageo.
