Similar to the Practical Katana, the Plus version is just as dependable and affordable with the added advantage of featuring more traditional construction methods and durable iron fittings.

Forged from T10 steel, differentially tempered, and completely hand polished, its full tang blackened blade has a beautiful hamon that is easily visible.

This katana's tsuka (handle) is covered with genuine same (rayskin). Double pegged for stability, the tsukamaki with hishigami is especially designed for a tight and comfortable grip. The simple iron tsuba (handguard) is complemented with a brass habaki (blade collar), black lacquered saya (scabbard), and high quality sageo (cord wrap).
