Chinese Han Jian Damascus Carbon Sword

This blade is a take on a Han Dynasty (202 BCE - 220 CE) Chinese, double-edged Jian that accurately features a longer blade and handle. Made of Damascus Steel that has been folded multiple times, it comes in a bright red color. This process produces vibrant, alive grain patterns across its blade. Clay-tempering, which hardens its edges and provides a genuine hamon line, has also been applied.

The handle, wrapped with red silk and a tight rope in an x-like pattern, is made of hardwood. A scabbard of quality redwood complements this, and its fittings are made of brass. This sword can be either sharpened or unsharpened, making it suitable for functional cutting practice, martial arts safe training when unsharpened, and as decor that speaks volumes about the magnificence of the Han Dynasty.
