Niuwei Dao Sword Practical

Named after the shape of its blade that is similar to an ox tail, the Niuwei Dao (牛尾刀) originated from the late Qing Dynasty. It is also often depicted in many films and used in Chinese martial arts practice or performance.

This battle ready Practical Niuwei Dao is forged for cutting and practice purposes. Forged from T10 steel and clay tempered, its hamon (waves) is easily visible after it is mirror polished by hand.

The handle wrap is available in red or black cotton. Equipped with simple brass fittings and a rose wood (Huali wood) scabbard, its minimalist design keeps this sword elegant yet affordable. Customizations are also available upon request.
