    Z-Sey's San Mai Folded Steel Katana Blade is forged from folded steel and high carbon steel. Translating to "three layers", the San Mai technique refers to the three pieces of layered steel: a core steel sandwiched between two layers to form a jacket around it. Similar to Damascus steel, SanMai steel is known for its durability and cutting edge. The shinogi zukuri (curved blade with yokote and shinogi close to mune) blade is Sashikomi Grade A+ polished to reveal a beautiful gunome (semicircles) hamon.
