Windlass De Joinville 14th Century Saracen

Named in honor of De Joinville, a valiant French knight famed for his exploits in the 7th Crusade, the De Joinville Sword reflects a widely favored and functional 15th-century cut and thrust design. It showcases a diamond-section cross blade adept at piercing through the gaps in plate armor.

Forged from 1065 high carbon steel, this sword is truly functional, able to perform high levels of cutting and thrusting. Its design is intentionally simple for practicality, with a more substantial pommel acting as a backstopper. The handle is made of hardwood while the guard is slender with narrowed quillons, enhancing the user's hand protection. This sword allows the user to experience 15th-century blade power on cutting practice targets and comes with a leather sheath for protection.
