Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Hand Polished Alloy Tsuba

The following is a highly affordable yet functional Japanese Katana, potentially serving as the first blade on a samurai sword enthusiast's journey. It is crafted from hand-polished 1060 high carbon steel that has been quenched and hardened. Moreover, it features a double-pegged tang for enhanced strength and stability.

The blade is designed with two bohi (grooves) that reduce the sword's weight and generate tachikaze - sound feedback after a perfect slash. Each fitting can be entirely disassembled and reassembled, being constructed from an alloy enriched and engraved with traditional Japanese masks. These masks depict gods, animals, demons, and other mythological characters. The accompanying scabbard is made from hardwood, and the handle is traditionally wrapped with silk tsuka-maki.
