Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword White Saya

This Japanese Katana sword provides an affordable way to immerse oneself in the world of the samurai. Hand-forged from 1060 high carbon steel, it boasts an ideal balance of flexibility and rigidity. The steel undergoes hand polishing, heat treatment, and oil quenching to achieve optimal hardness and a certain reflective shine.

The full tang blade, double-pegged and wrapped tightly in traditional rayskin, sports a smooth silk tsuka-maki wrap. It's housed in a wooden scabbard. The Katana features bohi (grooves) to assist in training, emitting a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) during practice. The alloy-made fittings, enriched and engraved with scenes of various samurai warriors, add a final touch to its authenticity.
