Katana 1095 Carbon Steel Sword Bird Alloy Tsuba

This is a replica of a Katana sword, used by the legendary samurai warriors of Japan. It was hand-made using 1095 high carbon steel, known for its durability and resilience. The steel has been hand-polished, heat-treated, and oil-quenched to achieve ideal levels of hardness and the perfect amount of shine. The blade is full tang and secured safely by double pegs.

The Samurai Katana sword features bohi (grooves), lowering its overall weight, and making the tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) easier to achieve. The handle offers a firm grip due to its traditional rayskin and tsuka-maki cover. The scabbard, made of protective hardwood, houses the blade. The fittings are an alloy and brass mix, enriched with birds and the Japanese sea wave, symbolizing longevity and prosperity.
