Katana 9260 Spring Steel Full Tang Sword

This Katana sword is based on an edged weapon used by the legendary samurai of Japan. It is made of highly reliable 9260 high carbon steel, known for its ability to bend and maintain flexibility even in rigid cutting practice tests. It is full tang with a double peg to increase its stability and features a shinogi-zukuri (blade profile) that enhances its power and impact when used for slashing.

The blade is polished to a mirror-shine surface and features a bohi (groove) to reduce its weight. It can make a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing) when used. The handle's core is constructed from wood covered with tight rayskin and hineri-maki (cord wrap), enabling a firm grip. The scabbard is lacquered for aesthetics, and the fittings, made from alloy and brass, are all engraved with symbols of Japanese sea waves.
