Katana 9260 Spring Steel Full Tang

This is a red Japanese Katana sword crafted with a shinogi-zukuri (blade profile) to increase its power for practical slashing targets. It's forged from the reliable 9260 high carbon steel known for its durability. It has been properly heat-treated and quenched to achieve ideal hardness levels. The blade is full tang with two sets of pegs for increased security, and it does not feature bohi (grooves) which enhances its power when slashing.

This Katana provides a very firm grip, thanks to its traditionally wrapped tsuka-maki and rayskin handle. The scabbard is composed of protective hardwood, lacquered for a shiny effect. The fittings are a mix of alloy and brass, embellished with the Japanese bird symbolizing longevity.
