Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Black Eagle Tsuba

This blade is a replica of a Japanese Katana sword, with a modern twist of having blue general koshirae (fittings) color, along with a dark and black blade. The steel used is 1060 high carbon, known for its optimal level of rigidity and flexibility. It's been electroplated to feature a strong black color, protecting it from rust.

The blade is full tang, adding security. A bohi (groove) is present to aid the user in making a perfect tachikaze (the sound of a perfect swing). The handle is wrapped traditionally in rayskin and tsuka-maki, covering a wooden core. The scabbard, in blue, is made of wood and is lacquered, while the fittings are of alloy and brass. They follow a Japanese eagle motif, symbolizing courage and bravery.

This Katana is an ideal piece for cosplay, decoration, and Iaido training. It is also a lightweight tool for tameshigiri (cutting practice).
