Black Wakizashi Samurai Carbon Steel Blade

The Wakizashi was the last line of defence for the samurai warrior if the primary Tachi or Katana sword was insufficient to save their lives. This is a replica of a Wakizashi, adhering to a secretive ninja theme with a dark black color, and is forged from high carbon steel without a handguard. The blade has been appropriately hardened, quenched, and specially treated to yield a dark hue throughout its length.

The features of this Wakizashi include a bohi (groove) that reduces its weight and accomplishes a tachikaze (sound of perfect swing) when used for slashing. The handle comprises a traditional rayskin and tsuka-maki wrap, both entirely black. Its dark scabbard, constructed out of wood, possesses a shiny and reflective gloss. The fittings, which are disassemblable and darkened, utilize quality iron and brass materials.
