Black&Red Katana Damascus Steel Sword Dragon Koshirae

This is a replica of a Katana sword, historically used by the legendary samurai warriors of Japan, known for their bravery. It adheres to all the historically accurate characteristics; however, its blade has a modern twist, featuring 13-times folded Damascus Steel. Around 8192 beautiful, vibrant blade layers dance across its length. The sword features a traditional clay temper, creating a genuine hamon and harder edge. Its dragon motif, golden hue koshirae (fittings), symbolize bravery and courage.

This sword boasts a full-tang, double-pegged blade for increased stability. It contains no bohi (grooves), improving its slashing impact. The wooden handle is covered with rayskin and wrapped tightly with a silk hineri-maki (cord wrap style) for an exceptionally firm grip. It features a protective hardwood scabbard. The fittings, constructed from brass and copper, can be fully disassembled. This Katana is available to order in different sharpness levels depending on its intended use.
