Ninjato Black&Red Damascus Steel Sword Dragon Koshirae

This is a Japanese Ninjato sword, following a dark blue theme, engraved and enriched with the presence of the Japanese dragon. This inclusion gives the sword a mysterious element while symbolizing bravery and courage. It is made from high carbon folded steel that's undergone a total of 13 folds and boasts over 8192 visible Damascus-like blade patterns dancing across its length.

The blade is double-pegged and full tang for increased stability, oil quenched for hardness, and specially treated. This treatment creates a dark/red color across its grain patterns that aids in fighting off rust. The handle consists of a wooden core, wrapped with rayskin under a tightly bound silk tsuka-maki. The wooden scabbard features a strong dark matte coloring. The fittings, made of brass and copper with a dragon motif, can be disassembled for maintenance. This Katana can be used for anything from cutting practice to safe Iaido training and comes with a complimentary sword bag.
