Katana Damascus Steel Sword Folded Blue Blade

This Japanese katana blends historically accurate characteristics with a modern touch, featuring blue Damascus steel due to extensive folding and a special etching oxidization process. The blade showcases roughly 8192 visible patterns and layers, and has been properly heat-treated and oil-quenched for hardness.

The tang is double-pegged for enhanced stability, and the blade carries bohi, or grooves, that reduce its weight, producing a tachikaze, or slashing sound, when swung. Blue ray skin wraps around the wooden handle core, with the silk katate-maki cord wrap in black.

The weapon's scabbard is also blue, lacquered for additional shine. Its alloy and brass fittings can be fully assembled and disassembled. Practical use, training (if unsharpened), or decorative cosplay are all viable handling options for the katana. It comes with a complimentary sword bag.
