Wakizashi T10 Steel Sword Choji Hamon Ume

The Ume (plum) wakizashi is a beautiful and powerful sword forged from T10 steel and cosmetically polished by hand to bring out the choji hamon that looks like cloves. Full tang and double pegged, this functional wakizashi is ready to be used.

The tsuka (handle) is covered with high quality black same (ray skin) and features tight and geometrical tsukamaki with hishigami using cotton ito (handle wrap). In line with the Ume design is the bronze tsuba (guard) with a plum blossom motif, brass habaki (blade collar), lacquered saya (scabbard) with Craquelure grain design, and buffalo horn kurigata (knob to attach sageo) and koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard).
