Katana T10 Steel Sword Classic Tiger

This Classic Tora (Tiger) Katana's performance blade is hand forged from T10 steel and mirror polished by hand to enhance the saka (slanted) choji (clove buds) hamon. The full tang blade that holds the edge remarkably well also has a geometric yokote to dissipate impact on the kissaki (blade tip) during use. There is an option of going with or without a bohi (fuller) that helps decrease the overall weight of the sword.

With koshirae (mountings) that are crafted blackened bronze and detailed in gold, the tora motif carries on in the tsuba. Meanwhile, the tsuka (handle) is covered with premium same (rayskin) while the tight and geometrical tsukamaki with hishigami is done using synthetic silk ito available in brown, black, purple, and navy blue.

The look of this tiger katana is completed with black glossy saya (scabbard) and woven synthetic silk sageo (cord attaching the scabbard to the belt).
