Katana Damascus Steel Sword Clay Tempered Scorpion

This is a samurai katana sword forged from the mysterious Damascus Steel, folded 13 times to create over 8000 enticing layers dancing across its blade. The steel, further quenched and traditionally clay tempered, features a genuine hamon with a much harder edge for cutting. Additionally, it is hand polished, which gives it a bright, shiny effect.

The full tang blade is equipped with two sets of pegs for increased security. Its rayskin and tsuka-maki handle enables superb handling. It also features bohi (grooves) which lower its weight and produce a tachikaze (the sound of a perfect swing). Finally, its scabbard is crafted from reliable hardwood, and its fittings are made of brass, enhanced with a golden scorpion or a Yokai - a Japanese spirit.
