Combat Temple Church Sword

Our Red Dragon Combat Swords boast high carbon EN42J Spring Steel blades, meticulously forged and tempered to replicate historical counterparts. With a core hardness of approximately 45HRC and an edge hardness of around 50HRC, they deliver exceptional performance. The steel hilts feature authentic-style guards and pommels, while the leather-wrapped wooden grips offer both aesthetics and comfort. Each sword comes complete with a leather-wrapped wooden scabbard and an integrated leather belt.

The Temple Church sword is a replica of a 14th-century sword discovered in the River Thames near Temple Church, the English headquarters of the Knights Templar. With inlaid copper alloy crosses on the pommel and a distinctive dagger mark, it possibly shares a swordsmith with Edward III's weapon at Windsor Castle.

Designed for powerful slashing blows, this large sword features a well-tempered, flexible high carbon steel blade with a long fuller for reduced weight. The steel cross-guard, waisted wooden handle wrapped in brown cord, and Oakeshott Type K steel pommel with an inlaid copper alloy cross enhance its authenticity. The leather-covered wooden scabbard bears the Templar Cross Pattée and the inscription "In Nomine Domini" (In the name of the Lord).
