This striking daisho set from Hanson Forge includes a katana, wakizashi, and tanto. With a traditional hand forged blade using kobuse steel where the outer layer of high carbon steel is folded over a softer core steel, giving it excellent edge retention, strength, flexibility, and shock absorption. The prominent midareba (irregular) hamon is further highlighted by the traditional 14 stage hand polished finish.

These swords also come equipped with premium fittings with dragon motifs as seen in the elaborate fuchi, kashira, habaki, and brass tsuba. The hard wood tsuka is covered with red same held with premium black silk tsuka ito. The blades come sheathed in glossy black lacquered saya wrapped with red ray skin near the mouth of the scabbard. The Daisho's eye-catching design is completed with a vivid yellow and black sageo.
