Damascus Clay Tempered Brass Hawk Katana

This Damascus Steel Katana sword has been folded 13 times, resulting in around 8192 blade layers dancing across its length. The samurai replica blade underwent a proper spring water quenching and traditional clay tempering process to achieve ideal hardness levels and a genuine hamon enhanced by a hazuya stone polish.

Security is provided by a double pegged full tang, tightly wrapped with a rayskin and silk tsuka-maki cover for a firm grip. The blade, devoid of bohi (grooves), increases its slashing impact. Its scabbard, constructed from protective wood, boasts a shiny gloss. Its fittings are entirely brass, enriched with the Japanese eagle, a symbol known for courage.
