Damascus Clay Tempered Straight Hamon Katana

This red and black-themed sword is a version of the Katana used by Japan's legendary samurai. It's crafted from the mysterious Damascus Steel, folded 13 times to create approximately 8192 visible, enticing layers across the blade. The blade is a double-pegged, full tang, and it's heat-treated for improved security. It is hand-polished for visual enhancement and clay-tempered to introduce a harder edge and a genuine hamon.

The handle is wrapped in traditional rayskin and silk tsuka-maki, and the scabbard is made of wood with a glossy finish. Iron, brass, and copper fittings can be fully disassembled. This Katana is suitable for tameshigiri (cutting practice), Iaido training, or use as a lavish samurai decorative piece.
