Damascus Wave Koshirae Clay Tempered Katana

This is a samurai Katana sword, folded a total of 13 times, producing over 8000 visible Damascus Steel-like patterns that dance lively across its blade length. The steel possesses a mirror-like shine after being thoroughly polished and features a genuine hamon following a proper water quench and traditional clay tempering.

The double-pegged full tang is secured safely by a rayskin and silk tsuka-maki cover, allowing for a very firm grip. The scabbard, made of reliable hardwood with a shiny gloss, and the fittings, crafted out of brass and copper, are enriched with Japanese sea waves representing good luck and prosperity.

This Katana can be used for cutting practice, safe Iaido or Kendo practice, and doubles as a beautiful samurai cosplay or decorative piece.
