Dojo Pro 1060 Steel Tanto #2

The tanto is a traditional Japanese dagger that encompasses blades that are less than 30 centimeters or 11.8 inches in length. However, there are also larger taunts known as sunnobi tanto. Once carried by samurais on the belt, the tanto is a companion sidearm used for various purposes.

The Dojo Pro Tsunami Tanto Model #2 from Ronin Katana is mounted in the Hamidashi style, featuring a small tsuba. Aptly named, the fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) for this tanto has tsunami motifs. The design of this dagger is complemented by gold colored habaki (blade collar), seppa (washer), and menuki (decorative ornament). The tsuka (handle) is inlaid with white same (rayskin) held in place by black tsuka ito (handle wrap). The tanto is sheathed in a simple black glossy lacquered saya and attached to the obi (belt) using a black sageo (carrying cord).
