Dojo Pro Katana Model #19

Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Katana Model #19 has the "moon over waves" theme. Featuring a blade forged from 1060 steel and through hardened, the maru gata (circular / round) tsuba (guard) is based on an actual antique Japanese Katana. Some koshirae (fittings) such as the fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) are made of blackened iron while others like the menuki (decorative hilt) are made of brass.

The tsuka (handle) is covered with black same (rayskin) and held in place by the tight tsukamaki using black silk ito (handle wrap). This katana comes sheathed in a black glossy lacquered saya (scabbard) mounted with hand cut and polished buffalo horn kurikata (knob for sageo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap). The black sageo (carrying cord) is made of synthetic silk.
