Dojo Pro Katana Model #29

Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Katana Model #29 is an elegant piece with a black and gold color concept. Forged from 1060 steel and through hardened, it has a square tsuba (guard) that is based on an actual antique Japanese Katana.

The rest of the koshirae (fittings) such as the fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) are made of blackened iron while the gold colored menuki that stands out is made of brass. The tsuka (handle) is covered in black same (rayskin) before it is wrapped with black silk ito (handle wrap). This katana also comes with a glossy black lacquered saya (scabbard) with hand cut and polished buffalo horn kurikata (knob for carrying cord), koiguchi (mouth of saya), kojiri (scabbard end cap), and with a black synthetic silk sageo (carrying cord).
