Dojo Pro Katana Model #3 Samurai Sword

This beautiful katana is Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Katana Model #3 with a blade forged of 1060 steel and through hardened to ensure that there is consistent hardness throughout. Featuring a maru gata (round or circular) tsuba (guard) based on an actual antique Japanese blade, it also has a fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) made of blackened iron, along with a gold colored habaki (blade collar) and brass menuki (decorative ornament).

The tsuka (handle) is wrapped in white same (rayskin) before the tsukamaki binds it tightly using a silk tsuka ito (handle cord). This exquisite katana is then sheathed in a black glossy saya (scabbard) that is lacquered and equipped with a kurigata (knob for sageo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (pommel cap) made of hand cut and polished buffalo horn. The thick sageo is made of synthetic silk.
