Dojo Pro Wakizashi Model #3

Ronin Katana's Dojo Pro Wakizashi Model #3 is forged from 1060 steel and through hardened to give the entire blade a consistent hardness. It comes with a Musashi tsuba (guard) named after the famous samurai, Miyamoto Musashi as this tsuba was found on several swords that was used by him. The Musashi tsuba is also known as the double ring or ryo mokko gata (two section) tsuba. The wakizashi also features a fuchi (hilt collar) and kashira (pommel cap) made from blackened iron along with a gold colored habaki (blade collar) and brass menuki (decorative ornament).

The tsuka (handle) is covered with white same (rayskin) and the tight tsukamaki uses a black silk ito (handle wrap). This wakizashi also comes with a black lacquered saya (scabbard) that has a kurikata (knob for sageo), koiguchi (mouth of saya), and kojiri (scabbard end cap) made of hand cut and polished buffalo horn. It also has a black synthetic silk sageo (carrying cord).
