Dragon Jian Damascus Steel Sword With Brass Mountings

The Chinese qing jian sword is enriched with emblems of the traditional Chinese dragon and made from pattern steel folded multiple times to produce Damascus-like layers and patterns.
The scabbard and handle are made of quality ebony wood, directly contrasting the bright brass fittings that shine with a golden hue. Elaborate dragon motifs appear on the pommel, handguard, and scabbard.
From the sword's pommel hangs a traditional red Chinese tassel used to aid the wielder during use. The double-edged jian can be sharpened and ready for cutting practice or unsharpened for Tai Chi training.
