Katana 1095 Carbon Steel Sword Dragon Koshirae Leather Ito Hualee Saya

This katana with a leather handle is a replica of the preferred bladed-edged weapon of the legendary samurai. It is made of 1095 high carbon steel laminated in a maru (single steel) style, which excels in cutting practice. The blade has been further polished, quenched, and differentially heat treated with clay-tempering during its forging process. 
The weapon’s blade has bohi (grooves) that produce a slashing sound feedback referred to as tachikaze. The blade’s tang is double-pegged for added stability. The wooden handle is wrapped with a katate-maki pattern over rough ray skin, allowing a stronger grip. The katana’s scabbard is formed from bright Huali wood. 
Its fittings, made of alloy, brass, and copper, follow a Japanese dragon motif which symbolizes strength. This blade is ideal for cutting practice tests, iaido, or to enrich your home with the samurai aura when used as decor. It comes with a complimentary sword bag.
