Katana Damascus Steel Sword Dragon Musashi

Miyamoto Musashi is one of the strongest samurai warriors in Japanese history, having won over 60 one-on-one duels. This Katana is modelled after the sword he used in his duels and battles. It is made out of the mysterious Damascus Steel with a total of 13 folds, displaying approximately 8192 vibrant layers dancing across the blade. For security, the full tang blade is double pegged. It's also oil quenched, heat treated and 12-step hand polished to achieve ideal hardness levels.

The handle is traditionally wrapped with rayskin and tight leather tsuka-maki, allowing for a firm grip. Meanwhile, the wooden scabbard boasts a shiny gloss and includes a protective rattan cover near the entrance opening. The fittings are a blend of alloy, brass and copper. This Katana is perfect for safe Iaido training and, if sharpened, can be functional for real cutting practice.
