Katana Damascus Steel Sword Dragon Musashi Full Tang

This replica Katana sword adheres to Miyamoto Musashi's edged weapons basics and is crafted from Damascus Steel. The steel is folded 13 times, resulting in a total of 8192 visible blade layers. It has been oil quenched and heat treated to achieve optimal hardness, and polished in a 12-step hand process to yield a bright, mirror-like shine.

The blade is full tang and double-pegged, ensuring security. A bohi (groove) is featured on the sword, reducing weight and enabling a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing). The wooden scabbard bears a glossy sheen, while the handle is traditionally wrapped in rayskin and silk tsuka-maki. In addition, the sword fits an alloy blend of brass and copper, and features the Japanese dragon symbol of courage.
