Folded Steel Hard Wood Bull Horn Saya Katana Damascus Steel Sword

This is a Japanese Katana sword that was most popularly used by the legendary Samurai. It features 13-times folded Damascus Steel, with over 8192 visible blade layers dancing on its blade. To enhance its Damascus patterns, the blade has been polished and oil-quenched to increase overall hardness.

The blade, double-pegged and featuring bohi (grooves), increases stability and produces a tachikaze (sound of a perfect swing). The handle, wrapped in silk hineri-maki (cord style) over rough rayskin, ensures a firm grip. Its scabbard is of quality hardwood, colored green.

The fittings, a mix of alloy and brass, can be entirely assembled or disassembled. The blade offers a personal choice of sharpness and can be used for light cutting practice, safe Iaido training, or simply as decor. Each sword comes with a free bag, wrapped in a foam box.
