Folded Steel Katana Blade

Z-Sey's Folded Steel Katana Blade is just that, the blade itself, giving you the perfect opportunity to customize your own katana. Forged from folded steel using the Shita Kitae folding technique, it produces a prominent grain pattern. Although this method is no longer necessary in the modern times, it still adds to the aesthetics of the blade.

The folded steel is made of high carbon steel which is clay tempered and Sashikomi polished to Grade A+. To personalize your own katana, select the different fittings desired such as the tsuba, fuchi, kashira, habaki, and more. To complement the overall design of your katana, choose the same, ito, menuki, and tsukamaki for the tsuka. Even the saya can be customized upon request.
