Wakizashi 1095 Carbon Steel Sword Full Rayskin

This full rayskin wakizashi is forged from folded T10 steel that to feature a sanmai lamination. With a 1095 core steel and wrapped with folded steel, the full tang shobu zukuri blade is differentially hardened, clay tempered, and mirror polished to bring out an attractive hada (folded grain) and hamon (temper line) while holding its sharp edge (HRc 60) remarkably well.

Equipped with high quality red copper koshirae (fittings) that have a dragon motif, the tsuka (handle) is accentuated with genuine same (rayskin) and tsukamaki with hishigami using black cotton ito (handle wrap). The look of this wakizashi is completed with a saya (scabbard) that is fully covered in rayskin toggle it a luxurious appearance.
