Hanwei Sabre Full Ridged Ring Guard Radaelli

The Radaelli Sabre features a fully-ridged guard with the classic reinforcing ring common to the Radaelli style. Its high-carbon steel blade is flexible towards the tip, and a replacement blade (OH2264) is available. This sabre represents the late 19th century Italian style of sabre fencing, originating from fencing masters who trained mounted troops in the effective use of the military sabre. 

Guiseppe Radaelli of Milan played a significant role in its development, while Salvatore Pecoraro introduced refinements at the Military Masters School in Rome. Paul Chen has reproduced their hilt designs, incorporating stainless steel guards and wire-wrapped sharkskin-pattern grips. 

The high-carbon flex-tempered steel blades closely match the period's proportions and have button tips for safety. The "Hutton" sabre more closely resembles the true military sabre style.
