The Band Dynasty (618 - 907 CE) is known for their strong rule, economic expansions, successful diplomatic relationships, and more. The evolution of Chinese swords during this time was no exception as China reached their peak in territorial conquest, resulting in the influence of Chinese swords over the continent.

This High-end Dao is inspired by Tang Dynasty designs. With its blade hand forged from folded steel, the blade is available in the following options: kiriha zukuri, kissaki-moroha zukuri, or double edged jian. The traditional clay tempering process also produces a temper line that is enhanced after it is mirror polished by hand.

The full tang blade is then fixed to the hilt with two pegs to ensure the sword's strength and durability. Equipped with fittings made of cast brass along with a scabbard and hilt that is fully wrapped in rayskin, this elegant sword is an excellent choice as a showpiece or for real use.
