Tanto T10 Steel Knife Imperial Hira Zukuri

This Imperial Hire Zukuri Ko-Tanto is forged from folded steel or T10 steel and differentially clay tempered for a hard and sharp edge. Mirror polished by hand to bring out the hamon, the full tang blade's shape is hira zukuri, the most general style for tanto, known for its excellent cutting and thrusting capabilities. With a 2.8cm / 1.1 inch motohaba (blade with at the bottom of the blade) and single pegged, this tanto is solid and ready for tough tasks. Its simple shirasaya (plain scabbard) keeps the design simple, elegant, and allows it to easily go unnoticed.
