Katana Full Tang Folded Pattern Steel

This Katana is crafted from pattern steel that has been folded 13 times, yielding over 8192 visible blade layers. The metal, hand polished in a meticulous 15-step process, showcases vibrant layers. It's been heat-treated and oil-quenched to achieve the perfect balance of flexibility and hardness. Additionally, the full tang is double-pegged for increased security. The sword, lacking bohi (grooves), delivers a more powerful slash.

The handle features a traditional silk tsuka-maki wrap over a rough rayskin cover. Conversely, the scabbard is crafted from protective wood, with a shiny gloss effect and a partial rattan wrap for easier carriage. The fittings are made of copper and are beautifully engraved with a Japanese bird - a symbol of longevity and prosperity.
