Ko-Katana 1095 Carbon Steel Blade

The Ko-Katana, a samurai Katana-like sword, has the same handle length but a much shorter blade. This design allows it to be used in more compact battle scenarios while delivering a stronger impact with each slash. The Ko-Katana sword is crafted from 1095 high carbon steel, laminated in a maru (single sheet) style. It has undergone a 12-step polishing and quenching process for a brighter mirror shine and increased hardness.

The fittings, made from alloy, brass, and copper, follow an ancient god-masked theme and feature a golden hue. The blade's tang has been double-pegged for added security. Additionally, one half of the blade has bohi (grooves) for stability and to produce a tachikaze (sound after a perfect swing). The handle is adorned with rayskin under a silk tsuka-maki wrap. The scabbard, made of wood, boasts a glossy finish. The sharpness level of this Katana can be customized. It excels in cutting practice and can be safely used for Iaido or as a decorative piece.
