Katana T10 Steel Sword Koshi-Zori

As indicated by its name, this Koshi Zori Ko-Katana has a sori (curvature) where the center of the curve is near or inside the Nakago (tang). Since it is a ko-katana, it also has a shorter blade length so it can be used in close quarters combat.

Forged from T10 steel, differentially hardened, clay tempered, and mirror polished by hand, this Ko-Katana has a tempered hamon. Its full tang koshi zori blade has a ko-kissaki (short blade tip) without bohi (fuller), making it a great option for heavy cutting practice.

The tsuka (handle) is covered with genuine white same (rayskin) and the tsukamaki with hishigami uses cotton ito to give a tight and comfortable grip. The Musashi tsuba (guard), fuchi (hilt collar), and kashira (pommel cap) are made from iron and features tsunami motifs. The overall look of this beautiful ko-katana is completed with a black glossy saya with fittings (koiguchi, kurigata, kojiri) made of buffalo horn.
