Katana 1095 Carbon Steel Sword Leather Ito Dragon Musashi Oil Quenched

This Japanese Katana sword adopts a dark and red motif, symbolizing a blend of sacrifice and joy. It is made of 1095 high carbon steel, celebrated for its durability, and has been meticulously heat-treated, oil-quenched, and hand-polished through 12 steps. These processes ensure ideal hardness and a bright blade shine. This samurai sword carries a Japanese dragon motif, embodying courage and bravery.

Its two-handed handle, which is full tang and double-pegged, promises increased stability. The section of the handle above the tang is traditionally wrapped with rough rayskin, underneath a smooth, tight silk hineri-maki - a cord wrap style - made of leather. This design allows for a highly comfortable grip. Meanwhile, the scabbard, crafted from reliable hardwood, displays a shiny gloss.

The fittings and mountings, made of alloy, brass, and copper, are engraved with the Japanese dragon and can be entirely disassembled. This affordable Katana is suitable for light tameshigiri - or cutting practice - but serves excellently as an Iaido training piece.
