Katana 1050 Steel Sword Masashi Performance

This Musashi Performance Katana is a replica from the famous Japanese swordsmaster, Miyamoto Musashi himself. Forged from 1050 folded steel and heat treated, the hada (grain of the blade)of the full tang blade is very attractive and easily visible after it is mirror polished by hand. The blade also has a bohi (fuller) to lighten the overall weight of the sword.

Featuring a brass double ring tsuba (guard), fuchi (hilt collar), and kashira (pommel cap), the appearance of this katana is further accentuated by the tsuka (handle) covered with authentic same (rayskin),and tsukamaki (with or without hishigami) using synthetic silk tsuka ito (available in black, dark brown, navy blue, purple).
