Modern Tanto Urban Samurai

This modern and tactical single-edged shortsword is inspired by the traditional Japanese dagger, Tanto, carried by the famous, legendary warriors known as samurai. It replicates the actual traditional Tanto in traits and characteristics while incorporating the latest technological materials to make it more rust-resistant, easier to wield, and more practical than decorative.

The blade is forged from 1566 high carbon steel, known for its effectiveness on practice cutting targets. It has undergone genuine clay tempering, resulting in a real hamon line and a hardened edge. Each fitting, made from copper and silver, holds the Tanto securely in place. This functional Tanto piece, ideal for a modern samurai, comes with a wooden scabbard for protection and safekeeping.
