Hanwei Claymore Museum Inspired 16th Century

The Claymore, a mainstay of the Highland warriors in the late 15th and 16th centuries, possessed a distinctively styled hilt that distinguished it from other great swords of the era. With its longsword length, this versatile weapon delivered powerful sweeping slashes and thrusts. The Hanwei Claymore faithfully replicates a surviving museum piece, showcasing its classic design. 

The sloping quillons with quatrefoil terminations and the high-collared quillon block with langets along the blade fuller exemplify its unique features. The leather-covered grip is crowned by a globate pommel. This version of the sword features an antiqued finish, closely resembling the original museum piece. The grip is wrapped in leather.
