PRODUCT DETAILS

This replica of a Scottish Dirk, once utilized by Highlanders for everyday tasks and as a sidearm in battles, is representative of an early Dirk design. Although not widely recognized, it established the standard for modern Dirk daggers and has its origins in the previous Bollock European dagger, characterized by a rounded and lobed handguard.

Constructed from 1055 high-carbon steel, this dagger strikes the optimum balance between rigidity and flexibility. Aesthetic and function combine on its blade which showcases a fuller along its spine to lessen its weight, whilst maintaining a single-edged design. The hardwood handle, shaped like an hourglass, facilitates a sturdy grip and the fittings are crafted from steel. Sharpened for functionality, this Scottish Dirk is suitable for real cutting practice tests, employed either for stabbing or thrusting.
