Qi Jian Sword

During the Warring States period in Chinese history, Qi was the major power and the last of the warring states to be conquered by Qin before China was unified under the Qing Dynasty.

This Qi Jian is inspired by the ancient Jian design from the Warring States period, hence its name. Made to be wielded with two hands, it can be forged from 9260 steel or folded steel. Depending on one's preferences, it can come with or without a hamon (temper line).

The sword's slender design ensures that it is well balanced. Equipped with solid cast brass fittings with an antique finish, the aesthetics of this sword is completed with a scabbard and handle that can be made from ebony, rose wood, or haul wood (Wenge). Options for the handle wrap include wax cotton cord or rayskin.
