Real Dragon Katana T10 Steel Sword

This very affordable Japanese sword, based on the historical samurai Katana, is made of quality T10 high-carbon steel. Known for its durability, hardness, and flexibility, the steel has been fashioned into a blade using the maru (single block) method, then polished, heat-treated and quenched to achieve optimal hardness. The sword's theme is a blue dragon, symbolic of courage and strength, depicted extensively on the fittings and etched onto the blade.

The tang boasts a mei (signature mark) and is double-pegged to ensure security if the blade is sharpened. It's also usable for cutting tests, capable of producing a tachikaze (the sound of a perfect slash) due to the presence of bohi (grooves). Both the handle and the scabbard are crafted from quality hardwood. The scabbard features a robust matte coloring, enhancing its visual appeal, while the handle is wrapped with rayskin and a tsuka-maki, optimised for practical grip use. Its fittings, created from an alloy, can be fully disassembled and reassembled. This blade is ideal for beginners looking to use a Katana for cutting practice, Iaido training or as a decorative piece.
