Katana 1060 Carbon Steel Sword Samurai 8196 Red Damascus Steel

This Japanese Damascus steel samurai katana has a red and black theme, representing sacrifice and happiness. A mix of 1060 high-carbon steel has been folded repeatedly to produce 8192 visible blade layers enhanced by extensive hand polishing.
The blade's tang is double pegged for added stability with two sets of _bohi_ (grooves) for lowering its weight and producing a tachikaze (slashing sound) when swung. Its brass and alloy fittings are enriched with Japanese flowers, symbolizing the fleeting nature of life.
The weapon's handle is wrapped with silk tsuka-maki atop rough ray skin, with a glossy scabbard. This sword can be sharpened, ideal for cutting practice. When unsharpened, the sword can be used for Iaido, kendo, or decor.
